RRaoulski
Chaos manifested.
RRaoulski (Raoul Krämer, b. 1993, Marburg) is a German contemporary artist whose
practice operates at the intersection of abstraction, post-graffiti, and conceptual art.
Self-taught and shaped outside of academic art institutions, Krämer’s creative
trajectory began in the world of event production. His early career as a lighting
designer — including work with the Hamburg Ballett under John Neumeier —
cultivated a deep sensitivity to space, rhythm, and the dramaturgy of light. is
technical foundation continues to inform his visual language, which merges tactile
and digital realms.
Working with materials such as ballpoint pen, industrial marker, spray paint, and
found surfaces, RRaoulski fuses analog techniques with digital interventions like
scanning, duplication, and layering. His process is both meticulous and destructive —
an ongoing negotiation between control and chaos.
RRaoulski's work explores themes of identity, collapse, and the visual language of
noise, engaging with the residue of urban environments, the glitches of digital
reproduction, and the crossfade of digital logic and human error.
